Augustine Paul is one of India’s most respected choral conductors and vocal trainers, known for his deep commitment to church music and excellence in vocal education. With over four decades of experience, he currently serves as the Music Director of the iconic Madras Musical Association Choir, leading its 80-member ensemble with global performances in the UK, Australia, and Italy.

Having begun his journey in church music at the age of 10, Augustine holds a Licentiate Diploma in Music from Trinity College London (L.MusTCL) and has mentored hundreds of musicians through his teaching. As the founder of the acclaimed vocal group Octet Cantabile, he has performed in over 200 concerts, both in India and internationally.

Augustine is also an accomplished arranger, studio conductor, and music educator, having collaborated with legends like Ilayaraja and A.R. Rahman. Through his decades of training, he has shaped the voices and futures of many worship leaders, church musicians, playback singers, and classical vocalists across India.
